FASH 4960 - Fashion Merchandising Senior Capstone (6CR) (Amended 10/10/2017 - Effective Fall 2017)Fashion Merchandising The Senior Capstone course requires the application, analysis and synthesis of the Fashion Merchandising curriculum to assess the students’ level of comprehension. Students will follow standard industry processes in the research and analysis of the consumer, retail business sectors, product ideation, product development, assortment planning, global strategies, and select technologies and financial factors. Drawing upon classroom experience, industry knowledge, and work experience, students collaborate on a group project to conceive a line of merchandise as a new wholesaler in a specific product category which will be salable for prospective target retailers (primary customer) and their target consumers (the secondary customer).
