FASH 1110H - Honors Introduction to the Fashion Business Fashion Merchandising Using a dynamic lecture- and workshop-based format, this honors-level course introduces the terminology and principles necessary to be successful in the fashion business. Students study fashion classifications, garment detail and construction, sources of fashion information, and the modern history of fashion. Students will learn the scope and global nature of the fashion business through the use of industry research, case studies and hands-on projects. credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): Enrollment in the Fashion Scholars Program or by permission of the Department Chair.
