MRKT 3350H - Honors Global Markets Marketing, Management & Finance The goal of this course is to familiarize students with the effects of globalization and the opportunities and challenges that abound in world markets. Emphasis is placed on the concepts of cultural awareness, communication of business practices, negotiation, and market entry strategies. Diverse markets (industrialized, developing and underdeveloped) are analyzed to show the varying tactics a marketer must utilize to compete and thrive in the global marketplace. Case studies, computer simulations, and market entry strategic planning examples may be utilized to assist students in gaining appreciation for the application of course concepts. credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): MRKT 1550 or MRKT 1550H, and enrollment in the Fashion Scholars Program, or by permission of the Department Chair
