VMER 4510 - Visual Merchandising: History, Theory, and Practice Visual Merchandising Students will be exposed to an historical overview of the visual merchandising industry, with references to cultural, socioeconomic and demographic influences. This course provides the advanced visual merchandising student with an exciting compendium and reference to the evolution and growing maturity of a relatively young profession. Students will develop a working familiarity with definitions, terms and vocabulary that are necessary for practitioners in the field.
