VMER 3610 - Product Presentation Visual Merchandising This course offers an analysis of current presentation practices, theories and techniques. Hands-on work includes the design and installation of different types of merchandise presentations: window design, in-store presentation, marketing promotional display, and digital/social media product presentation. Each type of merchandise presentation will be studied in class and/or field trips to evaluate the most current and effective methods of presentation while supporting the image of the brand. Students will examine product as object in its own entity and as a part of a brand campaign. Working within the studio, students will have the opportunity to develop, construct and realize their designs through a variety of techniques and creative practices. credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): VMER 1010, VMER 1510, VMER 2601
