VMER 1510 - Color and Design

Visual Merchandising
Students will be introduced to basic art elements (line, shape, texture, value, and color) and their relationship to art projects. The compositional aspects of these art elements, such as rhythm, repetitions, contrast, balance, and visual interchange will also be covered. Students will independently develop, compose and complete art assignments relating to design elements and compositional aspects. All students will complete two-dimensional projects involving the art elements and their relationship to visual arts in our environment.
