SOCI 2316 - Cross-Cultural Communications Arts & Sciences This course explores other cultures and ways of thinking as well as ways in which groups outside the mainstream of American thought engage the world. The course examines the principles and processes of communicating from one culture to another, the inherent differences among peoples, and the places where humanity meets. The focus is on perception, ways of thinking, verbal and non-verbal communication, and the idea of reaching across cultural boundaries. credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1100, ENGL 1105
