EECM 480B - Senior Co-op Experiential Education & Career Management The Co-op component in the Senior Semester is designed to expose the student to a significant and broadening full-semester internship experience in the fashion or related industries, usually in an area relevant to the student’s career goals and experience. The Co-op gives students an opportunity to evaluate, appraise and relate actual professional experience to concepts learned in the classroom. At the end of the semester students are evaluated and graded by their supervisor. Additionally, students attend reflective class sessions conducted by their Co-op mentor. Students are also required to declare three internship-related learning objectives and maintain a journal to document how these objectives were achieved. Students must give a presentation highlighting their experiences and achievements and submit their journal for review. This course is taken in the final semester of the student’s senior year. credit(s): 6 Prerequisite(s): EECM 1801, EECM 1802, EECM 2801, EECM 2802, EECM 480A, ENGL 0700 Corequisite(s): Must be taken with appropriate capstone.
