SOCI 2317 - Race and Identity Arts & Sciences This course is a study of awareness and appreciation of multiculturalism and diversity through the exploration of how racial politics impacts people’s identity as well as their life chances in the United States. Students engage in discussions about racial issues, conditions of race, and racial inequalities. The course will include class discussion, readings, individual and group activities/exercises, and, when available, guest speakers. credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1100, ENGL 1105
