Previous Course Number: MNGT 405

This is an applied course in organizational behavior, addressing the behavior of individuals, groups, and organizations in the context of competitive situations. Students will also develop negotiation and leadership skills through experiencing negotiation and conflict resolution, including learning to evaluate the costs and benefits of alternative actions and how to manage the negotiation process. In addition to the theory and exercises presented in class, students will practice negotiating and develop their leadership skills with role-playing simulations that cover a range of topics. These objectives will be achieved through open discussion, honest self-assessment, experiential exercises, and observation of real-life leadership practice.
