ACOM 258 - Twentieth Century British Literature This course surveys the novels, plays, and poems of prominent British authors writing in the previous century. Themes of national and individual identity, the lasting effects of two world wars, the questioning of values, and themes of love, isolation, and the role of family are investigated in seminal works of art. Authors include James Joyce, Virginia Woolfe, William Butler Yeats, George Bernard Shaw, and others.
