ACOM 226 - Aesthetics This introductory course allows students to explore the various conceptions of natural and artistic beauty advanced by philosophers and art critics throughout human history. Through an analysis of classical and contemporary philosophical texts, cultural artifacts, and the fundamental principles of fashion and design, students develop an understanding of the complex relationships between aesthetic experience, culture, and morality.
