ACOM 213 - Creative Writing-Fiction and Nonfiction Students learn and practice fundamental skills for writing short fiction and personal essays. Assigned readings in nonfiction and fiction serve as inspirational models for student work. Creative exercises aid in the development of narrative and descriptive skills; class and professor critiques facilitate draft refinement. Writing creatively, according to the dictates of the imagination, improves students’ writing skills and enhances critical thinking.
