MFTC 330 - Politics and the Economy


This course introduces the role of government in the dynamic economy of the Information Age. The focus is on the relationship between the high-tech, information-driven, global economy and political decision-making and regulations. Topics include political issues that may impact students’ lives and futures. Through evaluation of existing policy students will explain the foundational concepts of public policy; describe the activities and institutions of the policy process; and define the terms and foundation concepts used in the field of public policy.
