FASH 233H - Honors Applied Concepts in Fashion Merchandising In this course students will develop an understanding of key concepts used throughout the apparel and textile industry. The class will be taught in five modules covering research techniques, costing, quality control, sourcing/manufacturing, and fashion sales techniques. Each module will culminate in a project demonstrating the mastery of the topic covered. Students will gain insight into solving industry issues through research and further understand how to effectively move a product through the supply chain. 3 credits Prerequisite: FASH 105 Corequisite: Enrollment in the Fashion Scholars Program or by permission of the Dean of Academics
