WORK 301 - Junior Work Project The combination of knowledge learned in the Management course and this Career Development course are applied in a corporate internship or retail management position. Students gain exposure to the expectations and requirements of working in a professional environment and an understanding of the management role. Students will participate in the WPII course to develop the skills needed to obtain a corporate internship or management position and will learn how to relate the skills they previously acquired in WPI to their WPII placement. They will spend a total of 150 hours in an internship in the Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Visual Merchandising or Management field. Students will complete the course by developing and submitting a WPII Report and participating in a Final Interview demonstrating the ability to apply the knowledge learned in their Management course to their WPII internship experience.
