The fabrics commonly used in fashion apparel and home furnishings are studied for the sources of material, construction qualities and usage. Methods of fiber identification, yarns and fabrics are analyzed for their practical application in both fields. Students are encouraged to research new fabrications available in the industry. 3 credits Prerequisite: FASH 105-Fashion Fundamentals
