FASH 259 - Fashion Communications in A Digital Age Devising and managing an integrated communications strategy and operating at different levels and in different functions will be thoroughly explored. The ability to understand the target market and its requirements, the ability to communicate the qualities of design and the knowledge of technologies and design culture will be covered by lecture and practical hands on applications. Planned, co-curricular activities with the advertising and public relations courses, this class would further prepare the student with concentration in the specificity of the various roles and responsibilities of a fashion advertising, marketing, or media, professional. Be it journalist, marketer, blogger, banker or cool hunter, the fundamentals will be emphasized and practical experience will be at the root of all assignments. 3 credits Prerequisite: FASH 105-Fashion Fundamentals, FASH 245-Fashion Writing
