ACOM 258 - 20th Century British Literature This course surveys the novels, plays, and poems of prominent British authors writing in the previous century. Themes of national and individual identity, the lasting effects of two world wars, the questioning of values, themes of love, isolation and the role of family are investigated in seminal works of art. Authors include James Joyce, Virginia Woolfe, William Butler Yeats, Bernard Shaw and others. 3 credits Prerequisite: ACOM 102-Research and Analysis, ACOM 111-English Composition
