ACOM 213 - Creative Writing-fiction and Non Fiction Students learn and practice fundamental skills for writing short fiction and personal essays. Assigned readings in non-fiction and fiction serve as inspirational models for student work. Creative exercises aid in the development of narrative and descriptive skills; class and professor critiques facilitate draft refinement. Writing creatively, according to the dictates of the imagination, improves students’ writing skills and enhances critical thinking. 3 credits Prerequisite: ACOM 111-English Composition I, ACOM 300-Junior Writing Topics
