From where do visual innovation and creative ideas come? Design eras of the past often influence the trends we see today. Students will explore iconic design styles and relate them to contemporary industry applications in fashion and lifestyle. Studio time will be devoted to experimentation with various materials and techniques, using both hands-on and digital methods including Al, for concept proposals in photo styling, product presentation, table top and flat lay photography, residential and retail interiors, and window displays. Field trips include exploring architecture and ornament in NYC and exhibition visits.
