MATH 2761 - Applied Data Analysis for the Business of Fashion

In this course, students will develop a deeper understanding of statistics. A statistical software package will be integrated to enable students to analyze large data sets. Emphasis is given to interpreting, reporting, and presenting findings. Topics covered include hypothesis testing of population parameters, correlation analysis, as well as analysis of variance. In addition, non- parametric tests will be explored. Students will be exposed to various business scenarios for which data analysis is critical for decision making.
