LIM Success
The First Year Experience course is designed to introduce students to the academic departments and other resources at LIM College. Through units on academics, career, and self-development, the course seeks to help first-year students with their transition to college life in New York City. Upon successful completion of the course, students will have created semester learning goals, an academic plan, a career plan, and a final reflection on the successes and challenges of their first semester. Each class section is assigned a student mentor and an alumni mentor to provide guidance and support to the students. Required of all first-time freshmen or students who have transferred in fewer than 13 credits.
