Academic Level

Undergraduate academic levels are determined by the number of earned degree credits (excluding remedial and/or developmental institutional hours) and accepted transfer credits. Levels are set at the end of the first week of each semester and are based upon the following credit breakdown: Freshman (0-27), Sophomore (28-58), Junior (59-94), Senior (95+).

Effective Summer 2024, undergraduate academic levels will be determined by the number of earned degree credit hours (including degree credits and remedial and/or developmental institutional hours) and accepted transfer credits. The new levels will be set at the end of the first week of Summer 2024 and will be based upon the following credit breakdown: Freshman (0-29), Sophomore (30-59), Junior (60-89), Senior (90+).
