|
|
A credit hour is the equivalent of a subject pursued 150-minutes per week for 15 weeks. The methods of pursuit can include classroom instruction, faculty-assigned independent study outside the classroom, or independent faculty-led work in an online instructional environment. One credit for cooperative education work experience is the equivalent of 50-70 hours on the job site and 15-18 hours of related classroom, online or independent work over the course of a semester or term. Learning outcomes must be appropriate to college-level work in the case of associate and bachelor degree programs and the equivalent of post-graduate work in the case of master’s degree programs and must be achievable in the prescribed timeframe. |
