Academic Standing

LIM College defines good academic standing as making satisfactory progress towards  completion of a graduate degree. In order to maintain full-time status, graduate students must register for nine credits per semester. During the last semester of the program, graduate students will typically be enrolled in six credits, as this semester is usually dedicated to an Internship and Capstone project.

Graduate students are expected to complete their degree requirements within the following timeframes based on continuous enrollment:

  • MS/MPS students: within 24 months of initial enrollment
  • MBA students: within 36 months of initial enrollment

Full-time MS/MPS students typically complete their degree in three semesters and full-time MBA students typically complete their degree in four semesters. All students must complete their degree within the designated timeframe. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 is required for graduation.
