Fashion Merchandising
Once a student has been selected after review of an essay, those that are selected will compete for a nationwide scholarship which includes completing a case study provided by the Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF) that is representative of a current industry issue. Research will be conducted in order to provide a solution. The case will supplement material learned in courses based upon the student’s year of study that will lead to developing enhanced critical thinking skills. Students may be awarded a $5,000 scholarship based on the case study submitted which will be judged blindly by executives in the retail industry measured by an FSF rubric. Following case study submission, the class will cover special topics in Retailing.
