FASH 2115 - Introduction to the Beauty Industry

Fashion Merchandising
This course is an overview of the beauty industry-including fragrance, skincare and makeup. Students become familiar with an array of manufacturers, marketing strategies, trade associations, and publications. Course work includes beauty history, terminology, product knowledge in all categories, and application techniques used in retail marketing. The course also provides a broad outlook on career opportunities in the beauty, and related industries.
