Visual Studies
Students will use field trips to New York City cultural locations as the basis for developing studio projects. Class-time will alternate between field trips to museums, galleries, public art spaces and dynamic neighborhoods, and studio sessions where students will develop individual projects using a variety of materials. Projects will be tailored to be relevant for students across majors, and experimentation with both digital and traditional studio techniques will be encouraged.
