Visual Merchandising
What constitutes visual branding today? This course will evaluate a multitude of components used to create strong visual branding from concept to final execution. Students will invent a product or service, identify the brand’s values, personality and attributes, and visually express these using the elements and principles of design. Students will learn to integrate Adobe Creative Suite’s Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to develop visual narratives for digital and social media, and digital publishing. Video, animation, and web-based applications will be explored.
