FASH 1210 - Retailing

Fashion Merchandising
Retailing is a combination of activities involved in selling products and services directly to the consumer. This course will focus on the evolution of retailing and the distribution models that operate both domestically and internationally in an omni-channel environment. The various functions of retailers will be covered, including: establishing an image, merchandise buying and pricing, human resources, store operations, store layout and design, and management information systems. How retailers implement new technologies and take corporate social responsibility into account will also be discussed.
