FASH 2710 - Applied Concepts in Merchandising

In this course students will develop an understanding of key concepts used throughout the apparel and textile industries. The class will be taught in five modules covering research techniques, pricing strategies, globalization, sourcing/manufacturing, and effective sales techniques. Each module will culminate in a project demonstrating the mastery of the topic covered. Students will gain insight into solving industry issues through primary research and knowledge and understanding will be reinforced through academic presentations.
