MNGT 230 - Corporate Social Responsibility


This course provides a critical description of the obligations management has to all stakeholders and explores how business decisions can impact society, employees, the environment, and profitability when managers voluntarly go beyond legislation and behave as responsible corporate citizens. It also discusses how corporations relate to the public at large and shows how corporations, for better or worse, shape our world. Special attention is paid to the current business landscape and how smart companies can use corporate social responsibility as a competitive advantage, seeking new opportunities for creativity and innovation.
