ACOM 221 - History of Art

This course is a survey of the great art works, starting with the prehistoric period and continuing up to the Baroque period. The significant paintings, sculpture, and architecture of each major period are viewed, discussed, and placed in historical, religious, and political context. Field trips will be utilized.

Prerequisite: Writing Essentials or successful placement into English Composition
