FASH 248 - Photography for the Fashion Stylist


This course builds upon the learning gained from Fashion Styling and is supplemental and incremental to the objectives taught in Applied Fashion Styling. Focusing on the study of photographic techniques utilized in the styling of runway couture and ready-to- wear, catalog, off-model, e-commerce, jewelry, handbags, footwear, home furnishings, tabletop and food, the course uncovers the secrets of the trade and practical applications necessary to succeed as a stylist in each genre. An elementary study of the masters of photography, tenets of digital photography, and working with the photographer are also explored.
