Field trips are an integral part of the LIM College curriculum. They are an introduction to the resources of the New York metropolitan area and an invaluable experience both culturally and professionally. Students visit companies and museums in the fields of publishing, manufacturing, retailing, wholesale distribution, marketing, business, home furnishing, and art. Field trips are carefully selected and varied, and the courses have been designed to give students a cross section of experiences and an awareness of career opportunities in the field of merchandising. Attendance is required for graduation.
