MNGT 420 - Senior Capstone - Management


The ability to develop a Business Plan is essential before starting and operating a business successfully. In this course, students demonstrate prior learning obtained in management and management-related courses, serving as consultants to an entrepreneurial venture in need of a plan for a viable, sustainable and innovative venture or through the development of a comprehensive business plan and through simulation will explore the implementation and development of the plan over the course of the semester. Working individually and in groups students will develop a depth understanding of the business opportunity including analysis of the industry and competitive landscape. Using case study, simulation and guest speakers, students will evaluate a series of business scenarios leading to the development of a business plan that is suitable for presentation to investors, vendors and key employees.
