WORK 201 - Work Project II


The combination of knowledge learned in the Management course and this Career Development course are applied in a corporate internship or retail management position. Students gain exposure to the expectations and requirements of working in a professional environment and an understanding of the management role. Students will participate in the WPII course to develop the skills needed to obtain a corporate internship or management position and will learn how to relate the skills they previously acquired in WPI to their WPII placement. They will spend a total of 150 hours in an internship in the Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Visual Merchandising or Management field. Students will complete the course by developing and submitting a WPII Report and participating in a Final Interview demonstrating the ability to apply the knowledge learned in their Management course to their WPII internship experience. This course is offered in the Fall, Spring, and Summer. See Internship Acknowledgement Agreement form for additional information.
