MNGT 318 - Managing Product Innovation

This course identifies key factors associated with successful product development and service innovation in small firms or in larger firms that encourage “intrapreneurship”, and presents a systematic approach to building products that redefine markets—or create new ones. It covers the major concerns in the new product development process, emphasizing the managerial issues, concepts, and methods that can be directly useful in improving the productivity of new product development. Lectures provide a methodical managerial approach to the development and management of new products and life-cycle management of existing products.
