MNGT 219 - Entrepreneurship


This is the entrepreneurial age and the excitement and challenge of entrepreneurship is introduced in this course. Students learn how to generate sound business ideas and to prepare a business plan, including choosing the form of business organization, selecting a location, financial planning, and administration. The concepts of franchising and marketing on the Internet are explored and the need for small businesses to continually differentiate from competitors in order to earn and sustain a reasonable profit margin is emphasized.
