ACOM 256 - Modern Art

This course develops students’ understanding and exploration of American and European art of the 19th and 20th centuries. Students focus on art works that have changed viewing experiences and the visual world of the 20th century. The class will view and discuss works in the areas of Impressionism, Cubism, Dadaism, Surrealism, and Abstract Expressionism.
