Senior Semester Academic Policy

The Senior Semester consists of the Senior Capstone and Senior Co-op courses. These courses are interrelated and must be taken simultaneously. The Senior Capstone is major-specific. Therefore, students must take the Senior Capstone aligned with their degree. To be eligible for the Senior Semester, students must have reached senior standing and all program-specific required coursework must be completed before they begin, including all required internships.

When selecting a Senior Co-op, students must adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the Senior Semester Handbook. Students are at risk for automatic failure of this course if they quit or abandon the internship (this includes accepting a position and then quitting to take another position), get fired from the internship, or fail to complete the required days and hours of the internship.*
